Blue Diamond Utility Multi-purpose Anti-slip Matting

The Utility mat is an ultra-hard-wearing, non-slip rubber mat designed to give as much traction as possible in areas at risk of excessive slippage. This rubber mat features a unique hole and channel design that aids drainage, keeping the surface clear of water and dirt. This is a key factor if using this mat as a roof walkway mat.

Although this mat has many applications, including indoor and outdoor environments, its high level 3 wear resistance and impact resistance make it heavy-duty enough for industrial applications like construction sites, assembly lines, and engineering environments. This mat also benefits from having a level 2 anti-fatigue rating.

As this matting is suitable for outdoor applications, it can be used as walkway floor matting in nurseries and garden centres. With plants needing to be watered every day, managing the waste water is important. It will inevitably pool on footways, so utilising the utility mat will avoid putting anyone at the risk of slipping and subsequently hurting themselves.

Slip Resistant Level 2

This mat is rated a 2 out of 3 for slip resistance based on testing from ASTM C1028-89 and DIN-E-51130, 51097, and customer feedback. The higher the level, the better. This rating is ideal for areas with a medium risk of slipping.

Anti Fatigue Level 2

This mat has an anti-fatigue rating of 2 out of 3, meaning it will help relieve pressure on feet and combat foot fatigue. This rating is based on testing from ASTM D3574, where the deflection of the mat is measured whilst a load is placed on it with a higher deflection, scoring a better rating.

Crush Resistant Level 3

This mat has a crush resistance rating of 3 out of 3, meaning it is suitable for heavy-duty applications with heavier loads applied to the matting.

Wear Resistant Level 3

This mat has been tested for abrasion resistance and scored a 3 out of 3 (the highest score). In accordance with ASTM D3844-92, accelerated wear testing includes subjecting a sample to an abrasive wheel for 5000 cycles. This wear-resistant mat is ideal for heavy-duty applications.

Soil Resistance Level 3

This rating indicates the weight of dust and dirt the mat can collect and cope with. With a score of 3 out of 3 (the best score), this mat is suitable for use in areas with a high level of dirt ingress that needs capturing.

Wheeled Area

Designed for use with wheeled equipment like trolleys and pallet trucks.

Cut To Length
