  • About Verge Markers

Verge markers are a handy way of protecting grass verges and highlighting the curvature of the road to motorists. Our most popular unit is road-legal and frequently installed on bends in the road, letting drivers know there's a sharp turn ahead.

These markers are most commonly made from plastic, featuring reflective panels on either side (integrally-moulded plastic reflectors or a sticker variant). Many are also striped in black and white for increased visibility.

Our grass verge posts are exceptionally easy to install. The Wychwood is a very popular choice because it just needs to be pushed or malleted in. With other versions, you need to dig a hole and bury the lower portion into the ground, or use concrete for a more secure install. Verge markers are very durable when installed correctly.

Which way round should the reflectors be?

We often get asked this question. The correct orientation is to have the red reflector on the nearside (passenger side of your car) on approach. So if you're in the UK (driving on the left-hand side of the road), you should have red reflectors to your left and white reflectors to your right. Think of it like car lights: red rear lights on the car you're following and white lights for the oncoming traffic.
