Key Considerations When Buying Scaffold Lights
Battery Life
Depending on your lights’ main power source, consider how long they will remain functional before their battery needs recharging or replacing. If the light has a daylight sensor, this will dramatically increase battery life as the light turns off when it’s not needed.
Colour
What colour light do you need? Red, white, and amber are usually used on scaffolding, representing different applications. Red marks roadside construction, white marks pedestrian walkways, and amber marks out hazards like barriers and other equipment.
Ease Of Installation
Choose scaffold lights that are easy to install and reposition as you need. Options with hooks, or clamps can offer greater flexibility.
Brightness
Ensure that the lights provide enough illumination for their intended purpose. Keeping the lenses clean will ensure the lights stay as bright as possible.
Durability
The lights must be robust and resistant enough for the harsh conditions of their installation location on-site, including dust, moisture, impacts, and the weather!
Flashing
Do you need a flashing scaffold light? Some scaffold lights can be switched between continuous and flashing mode.
