Hazard Warning Lights
Hazard warning lights placed around a roadworks site make drivers aware that workers are in the road and help to guide them safely past the area. Our range of road lamps includes various types of cone lamp, plus lights for barriers, warning beacons, and road flares.
These must be illuminated during the hours of darkness or in poor visibility on roads with a speed limit of 40 mph or above (or on lower-speed roads if your risk assessment demands it).
Around construction sites, bright lighting keeps pedestrians and motorists from colliding with structures such as scaffolding, hoarding, or skips. With various colour options available, you can select the colour you need for the application (such as amber lights for skips).
The lights are easy to set up and operate, ranging from push-button and twist activated controls to self-activated lamps that come on when attached to a cone or when it gets dark. If you choose a battery-powered warning lamp, don’t forget that we also stock replacement long-life batteries including 6V batteries and AA batteries.
