Blue Diamond PVC Backed Coir Entrance Matting - 1000mm Wide

Our traditional-looking PVC-backed Coir entrance mat is very hard-wearing and capable of absorbing water and collecting dirt at entranceways throughout the seasons. For this reason, you will frequently see this mat in mat wells at the entranceways to commercial buildings and schools around the country.

The stiff bristle of this coir mat gives a powerful shoe and boot-cleaning action as it acts like a brush cleaning shoe soles as they move cross it. The backing of this mat is made from PVC which does not allow water or dirt to migrate through the mat, protecting floors beneath.

The colour of this mat hides any dirt that is collected keeping it cleaner looking for longer. The stiff construction of the PVC backed coir entrance mat means that trolleys and other wheeled equipment can pass over it with ease. Installation is easy, with this mat being able to be trimmed to size on site without any specialist tools.

This mat has excellent water absorption qualities.

Crush Resistant Level 1

This mat has a crush resistance rating of 1 out of 3, meaning it is suitable for lighter-duty applications with little to no heavy loads.

Wear Resistant Level 3

This mat has been tested for abrasion resistance and scored a 3 out of 3 (the highest score). In accordance with ASTM D3844-92, accelerated wear testing includes subjecting a sample to an abrasive wheel for 5000 cycles. This wear-resistant mat is ideal for heavy-duty applications.

Soil Resistance Level 3

This rating indicates the weight of dust and dirt the mat can collect and cope with. With a score of 3 out of 3 (the best score), this mat is suitable for use in areas with a high level of dirt ingress that needs capturing.

Zone 3

Zone 3 mats are the finishing touch. They dry off any remaining water on shoes; these should be placed after zone 2 mats or even internally between offices or rooms.

Zone 2

This mat is specifically designed to capture fine debris and additional water that may not be collected by an external mat. Place it just inside entranceways and lobbies to wipe shoes clean and collect an extra 20% of dirt that external mats may miss.
