Blue Diamond Dayton Entrance Mat

The Dayton entrance mat from Blue Diamond is a cost-effective mat designed for areas with medium footfall, whether it is a school, university, residential building, or office building. It is stain-resistant and has a vinyl backing that helps keep the mat firmly in place.

The Dayton is available in a range of colours and sizes that make finding the perfect fit for your entranceway easy. The available colour palette has been finely tuned to mask dirt and marks, making it look cleaner for longer.

The pile of the Dayton is 100% polypropylene and can hold a hearty amount of water and fine dirt before becoming saturated. This makes it great for keeping floors clean and dry for longer.

This mat has great water absorption qualities.

Crush Resistant Level 1

This mat has a crush resistance rating of 1 out of 3, meaning it is suitable for lighter-duty applications with little to no heavy loads.

Wear Resistant Level 2

This mat has been tested for abrasion resistance and scored a 2 out of 3. In accordance with ASTM D3844-92, accelerated wear testing includes subjecting a sample to an abrasive wheel for 5000 cycles. This wear-resistant mat is ideal for medium-duty applications.

Soil Resistance Level 2

This rating indicates the weight of dust and dirt the mat can collect and cope with. With a score of 2 out of 3, this mat is suitable for use in areas with a medium level of dirt ingress that needs capturing.

Zone 3

Zone 3 mats are the finishing touch. They dry off any remaining water on shoes; these should be placed after zone 2 mats or even internally between offices or rooms.

Zone 2

This mat is specifically designed to capture fine debris and additional water that may not be collected by an external mat. Place it just inside entranceways and lobbies to wipe shoes clean and collect an extra 20% of dirt that external mats may miss.
