Blue Diamond Aquasorb Medium-Heavy Duty Entrance Mat

The Aquasorb entrance mat is a great all-round performer. With a great water and soil absorption capacity, it is perfect for busy entrances to schools, offices, and construction sites, especially during the wetter months of the year.

With its anti-crush waffle design, the Aquasorb can aggressively scrape and wipe the bottom of footwear, clearing the last stubborn debris. This prevents the footwear from being walked around the building, causing slip risks or damage to flooring.

The Aquasorb entrance mat has a slip-resistant backing that locks it in place on almost any surface, ensuring it stays in place once deployed. The rubber edges of the mat are tapered to help the mat trap dirt and water within the mat, keeping subsequent areas cleaner. Available in many different colours and common sizes this mat can quickly fit in with almost any decor or branding for added cleaning performance.

Slip Resistant Level 3

This mat is rated a 3 out of 3 for slip resistance based on testing from ASTM C1028-89 and DIN-E-51130, 51097, and customer feedback. The higher the level, the better. This rating is ideal for areas that have a high risk of slipping.

Water Absorption 3

This mat has excellent water absorption qualities.

Crush Resistant Level 2

This mat has a crush resistance rating of 2 out of 3, meaning it is suitable for medium-duty applications with medium loads applied to the matting.

Wear Resistant Level 3

This mat has been tested for abrasion resistance and scored a 3 out of 3 (the highest score). In accordance with ASTM D3844-92, accelerated wear testing includes subjecting a sample to an abrasive wheel for 5000 cycles. This wear-resistant mat is ideal for heavy-duty applications.

Soil Resistance Level 3

This rating indicates the weight of dust and dirt the mat can collect and cope with. With a score of 3 out of 3 (the best score), this mat is suitable for use in areas with a high level of dirt ingress that needs capturing.

Zone 3

Zone 3 mats are the finishing touch. They dry off any remaining water on shoes; these should be placed after zone 2 mats or even internally between offices or rooms.

Zone 2

This mat is specifically designed to capture fine debris and additional water that may not be collected by an external mat. Place it just inside entranceways and lobbies to wipe shoes clean and collect an extra 20% of dirt that external mats may miss.
