This traffic cone from Quazar International is ideal for first responders and mobile works vehicles. This is because when compared to standard traffic cones the collapsible cone takes up no space at all. At only 60mm tall once collapsed the cone can even fit under a passenger seat in a car.
Space is often a critical constraint in a works van. Whether you are a tree surgeon or telecoms engineer you need your tools to work, and normal traffic cones take up critical tool space.
Five traffic cones can be stored in a space no bigger than 30cm tall and 38cm square.
Unlike many collapsible fold flat cones on the market, our traffic cone is 100% road legal. It can be used wherever a standard 750mm traffic cone can be used. This makes it perfect for first responders who do not want space taken up in the vehicle, yet need something compliant to standards.
There are many Chinese fake copies of this traffic cone available online, and none of them are compliant to UK road requirements. By buying from us you can be sure that you are in the clear and getting the legitimate road legal item.
Working from the bottom upward feed each “ring” of the cone down into the lower. It is as simple as that to fold the cone flat.
To deploy the cone you simply pull the top upwards until each layer is expanded.
Even though this cone is relatively lightweight, it is still stable in high winds. It has been wind tunnel tested and meets all relevant standards.

What made you choose the collapsible cone over a normal cone?
Daniel: "We generally are required to carry a lot of equipment to several locations around the work site, more often than not vehicles are not permitted, so portability is a great concern. These cones are a fantastic solution to that problem. "
How did the cones stand up to your expectations?
Daniel: "Excellent we arranged the cones around our work area using them to barrier off vehicular access, the weather had become particularly windy but the cones stood their ground fantastically."
What do you intend to use the cones for?
Daniel: "The cones will be used to prevent vehicles and the public encroaching onto our work site whilst operational, which is amongst other regulations an important legal requirement governed by the civil aviation authority and also written into our Operations Manual. These cones are ideal and provide enough impact to prevent people ignoring them."
