The ST Blade Marker is part of our extensive range of passive safety products and verge markers. With many options available the ST Blade Marker range is ideal for highways agencies, councils and even shopping centres.
Easy to install, the key feature of the ST Blade Marker is that it is a surface mount design and able to withstand multiple impacts over a prolonged period. Capable of being struck by a vehicle travelling at up to 70kph (45mph) and still able to self-right afterwards.
If you need to demark lanes, highlight a roundabout sliproad or bypasses, or highlight a protruding area of curb near a crossing the ST Blade may be just what you need.
Choose from single sided or twin sided to suit your application. There are also different colour retroreflective areas to select from, all of which meet relevant standards.
These feature a single reflective surface on one side, ideal for using on one-way roads, and dual carriageways. The required colour and position are indicated in the TSRGD Guidelines.
These can be used on verges, and also on dual direction roads to highlight road edges.
Again It is advised you consult the TSRGD guidelines before deployment.
These are reserved for use on the right-hand edge of a dual carriageway, or a road carrying traffic in one direction only.
We can get no parking, one way and directional variants of the ST Blade marker. The other designs available makes the ST Blade one of the most diverse systems out there.
As standard, the ST Blade comes supplied with surface mounting base. If you are fixing the unit to an existing surface, you will need four of our Universal Fixings to bolt each ST Blade down.
When creating a new install, we recommend using the ST Cast-In-Cage system. This cage requires a small hole to be dug out; the cast-in-cage can then be set in place. Once the concrete foundation has set, the ST Blade can be bolted on top.
If the face of the blade does ever become damaged it means that the unit can be swapped out very quickly. Either the standard foot or the cast-in-cage will allow for a rapid turnaround when replacing damaged units.
