For example, the zinc corrosion protection used by Jubilee gives 240 hours of protection against corrosion during an NSS test, equivalent to 60 years outside in a UK urban outside environment.

A key benefit of zinc-plated hose clips is their lower cost than the stainless steel alternative, making them ideal for high-volume non-marine environments. When installed in a dry environment, there is no reason that the clip should not maintain its functionality indefinitely.

Due to their cost effectiveness and more than adequate corrosion resistance, you can find these zinc-protected hose clips on machinery and hoses across almost all industries. They are commonplace on construction sites, oil and gas infrastructure and, of course, in mass-produced vehicles.

Stainless Steel Hose Clips
