The JSP navigator barrier is a new blow moulded pedestrian barrier suitable for use in areas where Chapter 8 compliant barriers are a requirement.
Possibly the most simplistic barrier on the market each barrier is made up of only four components (including the reflective sticker). This all means there are fewer components to go wrong or get lost on site.
This simplistic design does not in any way compromise the performance or durability of the barrier. It meets all regulations and standards including the following:
In summary, the Navigator barrier is a highly competitive contender in the chapter 8 barrier market, both in price and functionality.
Interlocking slots on each barrier ensure that once stacked the barriers stay in position. This allows 40 units to be stacked on a double pallet without the hazard of them sliding around on each other.
The feet swivel on an integral blow moulded spigot that once again facilitates compact and secure stacking.
The integral linking system means there are no clips to loose on site, it also allows them to be attached to each other much quicker than other linking methods.
The Navigator barrier features a simple yet effective linking system. This facilitates bracing the barrier line using a Navigator placed at 90 degrees to the main run of barriers. This simple feature can vastly improve the wind resistance of the barrier.
A Class 1 high-intensity reflective panel is installed to each barrier. This reflective material conforms to BSEN12899-1.
The panel ensures that the Navigator barrier can be seen easily by pedestrians and vehicles even in low light conditions.
The Navigator barrier can be used with the same SureFoot Bloc that the frontier barrier uses. This extra ballast can be used to further enhance wind resistance without using sandbags.
This method is much cleaner and more efficient to store and transport from site to site.
The foot itself is “one-sided” having a lower profile on the “pedestrian facing” edge, reducing the risk of tripping for pedestrians walking past the barrier.
Two eyelets in the barrier feet allow you to bolt the barrier down in place for long-term installations although this is not something that will often be required.
Similar barriers from the JSP barrier range can be seen below;
A Blow Moulded Barrier With Premium Connectors. A favourite in the chapter 8 range of barriers. Compatible with cross-bracing poles and SureFoot.
An Injection moulded and known for its exceptional strength the Titan barrier is very popular. The extra durability comes at the expense of extra weight per barrier.
