END OF ROUTE' Inc Symbol Sign Post Mounted Diagram 965 R2/RA2

This post mounted end of cycle route sign should be used at the end of a cycle lane, track or route. This sign is commonly known as its diagram number 965 as set out in the TSRGD guidelines. These signs are commonly installed where cyclists have to rejoin the main carriageway or where a cycle route comes to an end.

The sign is made from a plastic and aluminium laminate composite with rails attached to the rear. The face of the sign is covered in a highly reflective class R2 material, which is the suitable specification to use around public roads. To post mount this sign you will also need to purchase two sign clamps, these are available separately on our website.

These signs are commonly seen in conjunction with signs 955, 956 and 957 amongst a few others. However, for more fitting information, refer to Chapter 3 of the Traffic Signs Manual, page 155.

R2 Class 2 Reflectivity

R2 (RA2) Reflectivity makes this sign suitable for use with vehicles and reflects around 32% of the light that hits the surface back to the driver. This material is also called HIP which stands for high intensity prismatic.

Post Mountable

Twin rear channels mean the sign face can be clamped in place and will not twist once secured. The clamps are available to supply separately and are not included with the sign face.

Composite Substrate

The backing of the sign is made from a rigid plastic sandwiched between two skins of aluminium making the sign strong and very durable. As there is no steel it will not rust giving a great lifespan.
