Cycle & Pedestrian Sign Post Mounted Diagram 956 R2/RA2
This sign is used to show mixed use cycle lanes that are for both pedestrians and cyclists. Diagram 956 specifically is used for routes where cyclists and pedestrians are unsegregated and both have equal right of way.
Where the route is mixed use these signs should be used at the start and finish, along with repeater signs used at regular intervals as a reminder. If the cycle lane these are to be fitted on is segregated then signs 975A and B should be used as an alternative.
The sign itself is a post mounted sign and can be supplied in an array of sizes. Our commonly stocked sizes are available to choose from on this page. If you do require a different size please contact us for a price. The reflectivity of this sign is grade R2 (or RA2 as it was previously known) it is suitable for use on public land as a replacement for a damaged sign, or as part of a new cycle route.
Details on how exactly how and where this sign can be fitted are found on page 154 of TSRGD Guidelines. These can be found on the regulations page of our website or by clicking 'TSRGD Guidelines'.
Please note: You will require two post clamps to fit this sign that is available separately.
