Similar to the GrassTop drainage covers, the EcoGrid Grass & Gravel Manhole covers allow you to disguise your drain cover letting it blend in with its surroundings such as grass, artificial grass, gravel or even permeable paving such as an EcoGrid E50. This inspection hole cover has the same permeable properties and factory fitted membrane as the GrassTop however this recessed cover also features a cellular paving grid allowing you to fill it with aggregate or soil allowing it to match the rest of your driveway, patio or pathway.
The square to round inspection cover is available in two sizes with polypropylene frames and integrated lifting keys only. If you require an inspection cover with a galvanised steel frame for a square/ rectangle shaped hole, we also have those available.
Like the cellular paving grids, this drainage cover has a load-bearing capacity of 250 tonnes making it ideal for driveways and carparks. The tray for this cover is made with galvanised steel making it a corrosion-resistant, durable drain cover that can withstand light vehicular traffic. Each inspection cover is supplied with a factory-fitted membrane in the bed of the tray which allows you to fill the tray without worrying about blocking the drainage holes. Although the membrane covers the holes, it is permeable which allows water evenly to pass through the membrane and through the holes and out of the tray stopping any chances of flooding or surface water build-up.
These drainage covers are supplied with pre-installed paving grids allowing you to fill the cover with the aggregate used in the surrounding areas and match the look of it giving you a seamless, hidden drainage cover that is not obviously a drainage cover.
These inspection covers have pre-drilled drainage holes in the bottom of the galvanised tray meaning this tray will serve its purpose straight out of the packaging. The holes in the tray are spaced out equally helping the tray drain the rain or surface water with ease at a steady rate.
This particular model of inspection cover has integrated integral keys on each end of the tray which allow the trays to be lifted out of their holes with no need for additional tools which could damage the tray to remove it. The keys are located under the key covers which are removed by simply lifting the cover then pulling the key out of the housing, this allows for quick and easy access to your inspection holes.
This recessed manhole cover allows you to hide your drain cover but also allow for easy access if required. The tray is made up of two parts, the cover and frame. The cover can be removed from the frame which stops dirt, grass or gravel from falling into the inspection area once the cover is removed. The tray surround is made from 100% Polyethylene which is a very durable material giving you a solid surround that keeps the shape of the inspection hole when removing and placing the tray for inspecting burst pipes or underground drainage systems.
