With its 35mm diameter reinforced handle, the King Sumo Shocksafe Post Hole Spade can do the heavy lifting, so you don't have to. With its 54” handle, you can use leverage to your advantage when needed, making digging the toughest of soils easier than ever before.

The King Sumo, post-hole spade handle, is made from Shocksafe Fiberglass that is insulated against voltages up to 10,000V, letting you work around live conductors; it also means that the dangers associated with striking a live buried cable are far reduced. The SUMO range has been tested and can withstand bending forces on the handle of up to 240kg.

The head of this post-hole spade is the same as the standard SUMO post-hole spade, with rounded corners that prevent it from getting caught up on roots and other entanglements. The blade is forged from a single piece of steel, making it exceptionally durable as it has no welds that can become failure points in the future.
