20mph Zone Inc Symbol Permanent Road Sign

This road sign tells drivers that they are entering a 20mph zone. This means an area with traffic-calming features on the road, such as speed humps, cushions, or chicanes.

These zones require specific signs at all entry and exit points, instead of 20mph speed limit repeater signs along the road. You will often find 20mph zones in residential areas and outside schools.

Our 20mph Zone signs are R2/RA2 reflective for enhanced visibility at night and in low light conditions. They are made from aluminium composite material and include twin channels on the back for fixing onto sign posts.

Key features

R2 Class 2 Reflectivity

R2 (RA2) Reflectivity makes this sign suitable for use with vehicles and reflects around 32% of the light that hits the surface back to the driver. This material is also called HIP which stands for high intensity prismatic.

Post Mountable

Twin rear channels mean the sign face can be clamped in place and will not twist once secured. The clamps are available to supply separately and are not included with the sign face.

Composite Substrate

The backing of the sign is made from a rigid plastic sandwiched between two skins of aluminium making the sign strong and very durable. As there is no steel it will not rust giving a great lifespan.
