About
Overtrousers
If your job sometimes involves working outdoors, it's a good idea to have a pair of overtrousers on hand in case the weather turns wet. These garments - also known as rain trousers - are worn over your normal work trousers to keep you dry in a downpour. This also helps to keep your regular trousers clean and prolong their life.
Overtrousers are designed to be easy to pull on. Many styles have zipped ankle gussets so you don't even have to take your boots off, plus elasticated drawstring waistbands (this also ensures a good fit over various layers of clothing). Other features include side slits for access to your regular trouser pockets, and reinforced knee panels.
For more coverage, choose salopettes or bib trousers - we sell waterproof, hi-vis, and flame-retardant versions. Our range of chainsaw trousers gives you a choice of protection level, and also includes a salopette-style version. If you don't need a complete overtrouser, we have hi-vis chaps which attach to your belt or trouser strap with a hook.
