UltraCrete 10mm Tough Patch Permanent Cold-Lay Surface Repair 25kg

Fast-curing, instantly trafficable, and usable in all weathers - Tough Patch® cold-lay surfacing material is a great alternative to UltraCrete Instant Road Repair if you need to fix a road surface in rainy conditions.

That’s because this product actually sets using water, unlike resin-based versions that will only work in dry weather. Thanks to UltraCrete’s own bitumen binder, which reacts with water for a rapid cure, you can even repair potholes full of rainwater.

Affordable but highly durable, the 10mm grade product has a depth of 30-100mm and is suitable for permanent repairs on category 3 and 4 roads (such as footways and lightly-trafficked roads) and for temporary or emergency repairs on higher-category roads with heavier traffic. 

The rapid curing time means you can open the road as soon as you’ve filled the hole and compacted the material with a hand tamper or wacker plate. This minimises disruption and allows workers to spend less time in the road.

Tough Patch has many applications, from repairing potholes and other defects to carrying out trench reinstatements, utility installations, and patching in car parks and driveways. It’s perfect for bitumen, asphalt, or cement paving and road substrates.

Choose your preferred packaging - either a resealable 25kg bucket or a 25kg foil bag. A 6mm grade version is also available for permanent repairs on category 3 and 4 roads.
