Tramcar Crossing Ahead Road Post Mounted Sign - Dia 772 R2/RA2 (Face Only)

The tram crossing sign is for announcing an open tramway crossing ahead- one with neither gates nor barriers. Where drivers should rather be alerted of a Railway level crossing without a barrier, diagram 771 is appropriate, or 770 for one with a gate or barrier.

The tramcar crossing ahead sign may be used with a distance plate with or without an arrow pointing to the left or right, an arrow pointing left or right or diagram 773 in advance of wig-wag signals to alert road users of when to stop.
