Towed Caravans Prohibited Post Mounted Sign - Dia 622.7 R2/RA2 (Face Only)

The caravans prohibited sign, diagram 622.7, should mark areas where towed caravans are unsuitable for the road. There should always be an alternative route, however.

This may be needed at narrow roads such as village streets and residential areas near a caravan site, or where there is a steep incline. The caravan sign may be supplemented to show a time period, for when traffic may be heavy and slowed by a towed caravan within the detailed time periods. The supplementary plate could also show exceptions to the prohibition. Otherwise, access is restricted at all times.

R2 Class 2 Reflectivity

R2 (RA2) Reflectivity makes this sign suitable for use with vehicles and reflects around 32% of the light that hits the surface back to the driver. This material is also called HIP which stands for high intensity prismatic.

Post Mountable

Twin rear channels mean the sign face can be clamped in place and will not twist once secured. The clamps are available to supply separately and are not included with the sign face.

Composite Substrate

The backing of the sign is made from a rigid plastic sandwiched between two skins of aluminium making the sign strong and very durable. As there is no steel it will not rust giving a great lifespan.
