This Oxford StrongWall is a strong and robust plastic barrier system comes with a heavily weighted base (20kg) units that prevent tipping and significantly improve wind resistance. The StrongWall is Ideal for providing pedestrians with a safe route through road works, or around construction areas.
The moulded top section of the barrier is suitable for filling with ballast to further boost the stability if needed. The anti-tamper linking system prevents unauthorised dismantling of barrier runs, ensuring that pedestrians are kept safe from construction works sites.
Constructed from HDPE (high-density poly ethylene) this barrier can be recycled with ease. The black base section is heavy-duty and is produced from recycled plastics making it an environmentally-friendly choice. With its red and white reflective strip, this barrier is chapter 8 complaint and highly visible, improving safety by altering vehicle drivers earlier.
A popular reason for using the StrongWall is that the top section is slotted into the base unit, with the next unit slotting into the previous one, which makes the units difficult to dismantle without authorisation. We also offer the option of having the anti-climb StrongFence top. The Strong Fence slots into the top of the barrier and then they can be joined together with a fixing bracket.
