Snickers 9464 ProtecWork, Wool Boxer

When working in high-risk environments, it’s important to wear flame-retardant garments in all layers, from outer to next to skin, so as not to get severely injured due to melting fibers if an accident occurs.

Made of inherent flame-retardant 1x1 rib fabric, a mix of soft insulating muelsing-free wool, FR viscose, and antistatic yarn Belltron™ these shorts offer inherent flame protection and antistatic properties along with great working comfort. The wool offers natural body temperature management both in hot and cold weather. Wool is a natural fiber and self-extinguishing, but also has antibacterial qualities due to keratin. In addition, wool can absorb moisture and feels dry and warm even when wet. Sewn with flatlock seam for additional comfort. Material can withstand cal up to ELIM 6,4 cal/cm². Easy-care, wrinkle-resistant fabric certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

EN ISO 14116: Index 3

The fabric of this item has been tested for flame spread. An Index 3 rating means that no flaming debris or afterglow can spread to non-carbonised areas, and no holes can form upon contact with fire. The material's afterflame time must also not exceed two seconds.
