Two universal clamps are required to mount one of our post mountable signs to a pole (one for each rail). The universal clamp provides adjustable sizing, allowing easy mounting to any pole from 45mm to 217mm including odd pole profiles. This clip is useable with any sign from our post mountable sign range.
To mount two signs to the top of a post, a set of back-to-back clips are required to hold the rails. This, unfortunately, will not work with the universal sign clamps as back-to-back clips are a set length to fit with the Rigid-D clips. Therefore, we recommend using a 76mm pole in situations where signs are required facing both ways. It is possible to mount two signs back to back with the universal clips, however, the signs will not be level with each other.
Cut the cable tie holding the bands and thread them through the mouth of the larger pieces.
After sliding the larger pieces into the rails of the sign, straighten the screw to allow the band to pass through and wrap the band of each clip around your pole.
Pull the band as tight as possible
Push the screw back down to secure the band's position and repeat for the bottom clip
Use a flathead screwdriver to tighten the screws, firmly securing the sign's position
Enjoy your mounted sign
For 76mm / 3" diameter poles. The rigid-'D' clamp is designed to be specifically used with 76mm poles.
These are used if you need to have two signs mounted on one pole back to back and are only compatible with the 76mm rigid clip. To mount two signs back to back you would require two Rigid 'D' clips and two sets of the Back-to-back clips.
This is the page for this clamp. It works with any pole from 45mm to 217mm including odd pole profiles. However, they are not compatible with back-to-back clips.
