Highway Sign Plastic Quickfit Sign Frame
For urban environments, you need an optimised urban sign - and the purpose-built highway sign is just that. Its yellow-highlighted ballast base has a small footprint that doesn’t take up unnecessary space on pathways and kerbs, allowing pedestrians to move freely with minimal obstruction.
Another standout feature of this vertical sign system is the assembly method. The upright has to be inserted from under the ballast base, and once the sign face is fitted, the crossbar section obstructs access to all fastenings. Other sign systems in this class can have their vertical post simply pulled out from above, but this sign is locked together once the sign face is in position. The level of effort involved in disassembly makes it much less likely that those looking to cause quick mischief would attempt it.
Six QuickFit toggles at 300mm centres allow all common sign faces to be used, including standard triangles and standard supplementary plates. This means you can travel light with a range of sign faces and only as many stands as you need, keeping vehicle weights to a minimum. Finally, the all-plastic construction of this sign (except for the toggles) means that it is largely non-conductive, and it has no scrap value, making it very much less desirable to metal thieves and therefore less likely to be stolen.
