A wet chemical fire extinguisher is specifically designed for use on Class F fires (cooking oils and fats), making it the ideal solution for the demands of commercial kitchen and canteen environments. The new CommanderEDGE 3ltr Wet Chemical Fire Extinguisher is PFAS-free, identifiable by The Green Crosshair on the cylinder. It features an outstanding 8A 75F fire rating, making this compact fire extinguisher an exceptional powerhouse for tackling F Class fires. The unit also now features a bell bottom hose, allowing the Class F fire to be extinguished much more effectively. This type of fire extinguisher works by creating a layer of foam on the burning oil or fat, stopping the supply of oxygen so the fire isn’t fuelled any further.
