This GPO Shocksafe Post Hole Spade features a long 54” handle and a narrow but rounded blade that allows you to dig post holes in tight spaces with less likelihood of hang-ups on things like tree roots or even cables that may be in the area.

The Shocksafe handle is made from durable fibreglass and is insulated to the standards set out in BS8020, meaning it insulates against electrical shocks up to 10,000V. This makes it perfect for work in busy areas where there may be existing buried live infrastructure.

The blade is made from a sturdy single piece of forged steel that is ultra-strong but not overly heavy.
