Aluminium T-channels are used to create directional signs, such as those found on national cycle routes. They are manufactured from high-quality milled aluminium that gives excellent support for composite road signs of all sizes. Optionally, you can choose from a range of powder-coated finishes to give your sign the desired colour.
Sign faces are riveted onto these channels, which are then attached to offset brackets using 4.8mm rivets. The sign can then be fixed to a signpost using offset sign clamps.
We offer two sizes: small and large. Small sign channels are usually sufficient for most signs, but if you are looking to create a sign with an area larger than 2m², you should opt for the larger one.
These are the most common sign channels, suitable for attaching anything from speed limit signs to site maps to posts or railings.
When creating large directional signs, such as those you see on the side of large roads, interlocking channels allow you to combine multiple large faces together.
T-channels combined with offset brackets are needed to create directional signs, for example cycle route signs.
