The 500 Yards Marker supplementary sign is used to warn drivers that road works will be commencing 500 yards away. They are usually placed below a Men at Work sign diagram 7001.
Most frequently used on slower speed roads. For guidance on how and where this sign should be deployed please see the chapter 8 traffic signs manual.
This sign features a 3mm backing substrate made of plastic. It is lightweight and durable making it ideal for street works. GRP backing is available for larger sizes as well as other backing materials for high-speed applications.
This sign comes with 300mm hole centres; Check your sign frame also has 300mm centres by measuring vertically and horizontally between the holes. If you need alternative hole centres, give us a call.
This sign has RA1 - Advanced Engineer Grade Prismatic reflective material suitable for street works and slower speed limits.
