The Works exit sign shows drivers leaving a construction area where it is safe to do so. This may be cars, vans or trucks containing equipment or spoil.
These signs are often found in use with ‘works access’ signs and ‘works access only’ signs.
For full guidance on the sizing of these signs and how they should be positioned the chapter 8 manual should be consulted carefully.
This sign has four holes at 300mm centres and two holes at 750mm centres. Check that your sign frame also has 300mm centres or 750mm centres by measuring vertically and horizontally between the holes. If you need alternative hole centres, give us a call.
This sign features a 3mm backing substrate made of plastic. It is lightweight and durable making it ideal for street works. GRP backing is available for larger sizes as well as other backing materials for high-speed applications.
This sign has RA1 - Advanced Engineer Grade Prismatic reflective material suitable for street works and slower speed limits.
