At tight junctions and intersections, traffic is often moving at a relatively slow speed but accidents can still occur due to lack of visibility around blind corners. Where this is the case a wide angle traffic mirror is the perfect solution. Designed to balance a 180-degree view whilst minimizing image stretching the angle of convexity of this mirror is perfect for the job.
Fitted with a sun shield to keep rain and sun glare off the lens this Vialux wide angle mirror gives a clear view in three directions allowing drivers of any vehicle, forklifts, shunting trucks or container lorries to make an informed choice as to whether the path is clear before proceeding from a blind spot.
The mirror surface is made from P.A.S optics which stands for POLYMIR Anti Static. It is an upgraded version of the standard POLYMIR lenses available for the majority of the Vialux range. The P.A.S Lens gives enhanced anti-scratch and anti-static properties whilst still retaining the “unbreakable” nature of the standard POLYMIR lens. As an added bonus P.A.S. lenses come with an extended 5-year manufacturer warranty.
This mirror is available in two sizes, these are detailed in the attached table and data sheets. Each size has a recommended maximum viewing distance, this is the furthers away that the mirror should be placed from the observer. Outside of this distance items may become too small to clearly identify.

Like all of our high-quality VIALUX mirrors, this mirror comes complete with a fixing kit. This universal kit is suitable for mounting the mirror onto walls or posts and frames. The kit can be used to mount the mirror onto any bar or post with a diameter of between 60mm and 90mm. Once installed the mirror can be adjusted to get the best angle.
