Our Velour or faux Velvet Rope Barriers are ideal for cinemas, reception areas and nightclubs. They are part of our retractable barrier range and can be used with our RopeMaster posts. Our ropes feature a durable yet aesthetically pleasing covering and a strong core to give an elegant drape between posts.
We offer these ropes with a variety of options to ensure you can get just the right appearance for your needs. These options include a choice of length, colour, and end cap finish.
What is Velour, is it Velvet? Velour is a relatively modern material that imitates the appearance of velvet. It gives a high-quality finish whilst being considerably cheaper to purchase.
We can provide velour rope barriers in the following colours;

Our Velvet ropes can be supplied in either 1.8m or 2.4-metre lengths, this is measured from the very end of a clasp to the very end of the opposing clasp. You will need to allow for the “slack” in the rope when working out what length to purchase, as taught ropes do not look very good.
We offer two colours of rope ends both with a heavy duty sliding clasp. This clasp will fix the rope to the post and needs to be unclipped to be removed. The colours we supply are polished brass and polished chrome. (Sliding heavy duty clasps supplied as standard)
No problem, we can also supply braided ropes, you can find these here on our braided ropes page. These are available in the same lengths and colours but with the addition of a gold braid.
