These quality speed cushions are modular and a great alternative to speed bumps. They can be used in a range of settings to reduce traffic speeds to around 18mph (30km/h), improving overall safety, especially for pedestrians. They are ideal for installing in school zones and in supermarket car parks where there are often lots of pedestrians in the road and traffic needs to be slowed down more thoroughly.

Due to the width of the speed cushion, buses, fire engines, and similar vehicles can drive across the ramps without passengers being jostled. This makes them excellent for use along bus routes and trunk routes where cars and vans need calming yet buses still use the area frequently, as is often the case in larger housing developments.

Available in either a black with white hazard markings or red with white hazard markings, these kits are easy to install by any competent person. As they are bolted to the surface of the road, they do not need any excavations, and therefore, there is no spoil to remove from site. This also keeps traffic disruption to an absolute minimum, and should the cushion need maintenance in the future, individual sections can be easily lifted and replaced.
