STACKA LED Barrier Hazard Warning Lamp

The STACKA Lamp from WHI Safeguard is a LED flashing or continuous lamp that runs on AA batteries. The lamp is designed to add extra visibility to pedestrian barriers in low light or night-time conditions, and features a clamp system that's designed to be used with almost any Chapter 8 barrier.

The idea is that you can attach the STACKA to the barrier (installation is fast and easy) and then leave it in place from job to job. Most other barrier lamps have to be removed when the barriers are stacked, which takes up valuable time and also results in more breakages and units being lost.

Another huge benefit of using the STACKA lamp is that it utilises LED technology to extend battery life, therefore bringing down expense. It's powered by just two AA batteries, which are some of the cheapest available batteries on the market.

Compatability

One of the key advantages of the STACKA is that it's compatible with most pedestrian barriers (Chapter 8 barriers) on the market. This includes popular models like the JSP Titan and Frontier, the Avalon from Oxford Plastics, the Melba Swintex Gate Barrier and Wonder Wall barrier, and Mergon barriers.

Stackable design

When your barriers are stacked for storage or transport, the STACKA hazard lamp fits neatly into the gaps between the upright sections of the barriers. You don't have to mess about with trying to arrange the barriers in a certain way.

Highly visible design

When the barrier is in use, the beacon protrudes from within the barrier, making it visible from most angles. This improves the safety of workers and road users.

V2 PCB technology

This unit now incorporates new V2 PCB technology, providing a 40% increase in total illumination and maximising the life of the batteries.

You've probably noticed that traditional battery-powered units suffer from a gradual dimming effect - but the integrated Battery Boost technology ensures:

Uniform output: High-intensity brightness maintained throughout the entire operating cycle.
Total reliability: No fading performance as batteries deplete.
Safety assurance: Elimination of dangerous “grey areas” caused by failing light levels.

The units also offer up to 2.5 months runtime on AA batteries in flashing mode, equating to only 4–5 battery changes per year. This significantly reduces site visits, labour costs, and environmental impact when compared with legacy 6V systems.

Light distribution is optimised across a wider arc, so you'll get superior localised clarity compared to a narrow beam.
