Flame-retardant, warm, fleece-lined hood designed to be worn underneath a helmet for extra insulation and comfort in really cold conditions when working in hazardous environments. Velcro on sides and back for easy attachment to the inside of the helmet. Easy-care, wrinkle-resistant fabric certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
Features materials and design that dissipates electrostatic charges when used as part of a total earthed system. This is not effective against mains voltage.
The fabric of this item has been tested for flame spread. An Index 3 rating means that no flaming debris or afterglow can spread to non-carbonised areas, and no holes can form upon contact with fire. The material's afterflame time must also not exceed two seconds.
