This quick fit road narrows sign features an adjustable blanking plate that allows the sign to be quickly set to show either, or both sides of the road as narrowing. The face is a great alternative that is more diverse than a standard ‘road narrows right quick fit sign’ or ‘road narrows left quick fit sign’.

By being able to adjust the sign you save space on vehicles and cut down on the weight load too. This sign is covered under diagram 516 and 517 details of which can be found in Chapter 4 and Chapter 8 government guidelines.

The most common use of this sign is through street works where it is used to inform drivers that the road has an obstruction that causes a reduction of width on one side. It will often be used with the supplementary plate stating “Single file traffic”.
