It is installed by being bolted down around the bench’s feet.

The decorative base cover enhances benches from the Procity Oslo Collection (and other items of street furniture) in two main ways.

Not only does this base cover help hide the concrete and any imperfections around an installed bench’s legs, it also adds a recognisable accent to the bench which can be seen on many other street furniture items from Procity. To Protect a Structure

Made from aluminium, these leg guards were developed to add an extra layer of defence between a bench’s supporting structure (it’s legs) and the environment - acting as a shield against liquids, solids and other forms of abrasion.More than just being visually pleasing, these base covers are designed to reduce the effects of pedestrian wear and tear, but more importantly they protect the bench legs from erosion and corrosion from pets and other urban animals.
