Patrol' Supplementary Plate - Post Mount Diagram 547.1 R2/RA2
The Patrol sign is a permanent road sign used as an alternative to the School supplementary plate. It is used where there is a school crossing patrol where children have a route that is commonly used to get to and from school.
The sign warns drivers that school children are likely to be present and that they should drive with suitable care.
This sign is available with different text sizes (known as X heights) to suit all situations. The sign is exclusively seen alongside the 545 triangular sign.
For full guidance on the use of this "Patrol" supplementary plate please consult the appropriate chapter of the TSRGD guidelines, a link to these can be found on our regulations page.
