The Duraflex NAL Bollard is the same as the standard Duraflex Bollard but features a spigot compatible with the sleek NAL retention socket.
The beauty of the NAL retention socket is that once the socket has been installed the bollard can be inserted or removed quickly and easily.
The side compartment of the NAL socket houses the locking system for the bollard. This is covered with a plate secured with a security Allen screw.

The Duraflex flexible bollard is available in two body colours, white or black and with a range of sign faces all printed onto a retroreflective sheeting with a 6-year delamination warranty. We have listed some of the more common standard faces below;
As standard these bollards come with a plain non-reflective backing to them, however we have the option to have these with a yellow reflective backing or to have them printed with another traffic symbol if required.
Excavate a hole to 50mm deeper than overall socket depth and 450mm square, then backfill the 50mm depth with pea gravel/shingle this will allow for drainage beneath the socket.
Place the retention socket so that the top is flush with the ground level and insert the levelling pole. Make sure the levelling pole is tightened through the side inspection hatch.
Pour ST4 or C20 minimum strength concrete around the socket. Leaving 50 - 80mm for surfacing. Using the levelling pole check vertical alignment with a spirit level.
Once the concrete has set, remove levelling pole and reinstate finishing surface to leave a flush finish.
The Duraflex Bollard can be customised to your requirements. If you are looking to use these for off-highway use then these bollards can be printed in your custom colours with your branding.
