This Type A sign light is is perfect for mounting onto 76mm posts, where it can illuminate signage up 900mm tall and 1000mm wide. If you are looking to illuminate wider signage then two or more lamps can be used in conjunction with each other to provide even illumination. These signs are commonly seen in streetlit areas illuminating speed limit signs and other traffic signs.
The light comes complete with anti-rotational bracketry ensuring it stays firmly put over the sign face. For double-sided (back to back) applications, there is a twin sided version available.
The LED light within the unit lowers energy consumption to only 4.5W and delivers an extraordinary 12-year lifespan. The housing is IP66 rated and is also vandal resistant. With this Type A road sign light you can be sure that critical road signage is sufficiently visible.
This twin-sided version is suitable for using on back to back signs, these may be used where a speed limit changes between two zones.
These signs can be supplied in either a grey or black painted finish to fit in and match existing street furniture.
