This extension section for the Conviviale cycle shelter is part of our range of street furniture which includes bicycle racks and shelters. This extension unit comes complete with a polycarbonate roof and extends the standard shelter by an additional 1300mm.
This extension unit allows you to tune the length of your Conviviale shelter to your needs, creating more storage for cycles. The extension unit is made from steel that has been galvanised and painted in one of our standardised RAL colours.
Please note that the extension shelter does not come with rear or side cladding and must be used in conjunction with either the complete or basic shelter. It does include a roof panel which is produced from 10mm anti-UV treated polycarbonate.
This shelter, like many of our bike shelters and street furniture items, can be purchased as components to customise the layout.
The complete shelter includes both rear and side cladding as well as the basic frame. This gives better weather protection than the basic shelter.
The basic Conviviale shelter is supplied without rear and side cladding. This makes it ideal for placing in an already sheltered area where only overhead protection is required.
If the standard shelter is not big enough, this extension unit will allow you to add further cycle racks for more bike storage. The extension racks do not come with side or rear cladding.
This rear cladding panel can be used to provide shelter from the rear when purchasing the basic shelter.
These end cladding sections are perfect for adding to the basic rack if it is placed with its back near a brick wall.
The installation of the Conviviale bike shelter is simple, it can be installed onto almost any surface. This shelter uses the “cast in” method to secure it into place. With this method of installation, small foundation holes will need to be excavated at the base of each leg. Once this has been done, the cycle shelter can be cast into place with cement.
This shelter does not come with an integral bike rack, so you will need to purchase an appropriate bike rack, or set of bike stands separately. We recommend the high-low in a painted finish or a single-sided province rack.
