This 1800mm tall Armco post features pre-drilled mounting locations for double-height Armco rail, although the post is 1800mm in total length, a large portion of this once installed will sit below ground.
As these are cast in posts they are suitable only for areas where excavating a foundation is possible. These areas might be on verges at the edge of a car park or driveway where a barrier is required to prevent vehicles from leaving the hard standing.
This crash barrier being double height is especially suitable for applications where articulated vehicles that have a high ground clearance are operating.
With choices between bolt down, cast in (dig in) z section and RSJ configurations selecting the right post can be daunting. A few considerations can easily help you decide on which system is the most appropriate.
The I-Beam (RSJ) profile Armco post offers improved strength over Z section posts. RSJ posts are ideal for applications where heavier vehicles are present. For Lighter low-speed applications Z-section posts offer plenty of stopping power.
