Common Car Park Letter Sizes

The most common car park wording size by far is 300mm - it is used for almost all small to medium car parks or parking spaces. In much larger applications such as medium - large car parks or lorry parks, 600mm is the most common size.

Thermoplastic On Block Paving

Thermoplastic on block paving is known to be more difficult to apply and has a substantially shorter lifetime than on bituminous surfaces, such as tarmac.

Block paving is not a solid structure. Most of the time, they are put down and sand is added into the grooves, so over time when moisture creeps in as well as moss, movement can be made within 2 blocks, making the material crack and fail.
