Balaclava which, thanks to its comfortable, flame-resistant material, provides permanent protection against heat, flame and electric arc. Soft stretch material provides high work comfort when working in hazardous environments. The garment is certified to EN ISO 14116, EN 1149-5.
Features materials and design that dissipates electrostatic charges when used as part of a total earthed system. This is not effective against mains voltage.
The fabric of this item has been tested for flame spread. An Index 3 rating means that no flaming debris or afterglow can spread to non-carbonised areas, and no holes can form upon contact with fire. The material's afterflame time must also not exceed two seconds.
Clearly visible on the outside of the garment; these markings ensure you wear the correct clothing for the task at hand.
