UltraCrete PAK Spray PAH Detection Spray - 500ml

This innovative spray allows you to quickly detect PAH (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons) in road tar and asphalt without complication. Each tin contains a white liquid that turns yellow/brown in the presence of PAH. The colour change takes seconds, meaning you can crack on with the right level of PPE when commencing work without having to wait for expensive external tests.

Each tin contains 500ml of detector, allowing its use across multiple job sites.

Why detecting PAHs is important:

PAH are a colourless group of chemicals that can be found in oil, gas, tar and coal, amongst other everyday items. Inhaling PAHs can lead to cancer, especially lung cancer, whilst contact with the skin can cause irritation. Long-term contact can have a range of other health impacts.
