This quality barrier chain is galvanised to prevent corrosion and is perfect for long-term installation. It is the perfect long-term solution and far more robust for use in public installations, whether indicating restricted pedestrian access or preventing vehicle access; this chain won't let you down.

The chain is compliant to the standards of DIN 5685 and has been load tested, with the following results;

• 6 mm link thickness with link dimension 41 ×12 mm, bundle length 30m, test load 250 daN, tensile load 1,250 daN

• 8 mm link thickness with link size 52 × 15mm, bundle length 10m, test load 440 daN, tensile load 2,200 daN

The galvanised finish means that it can be installed both indoors and outdoors without issue. This makes it the perfect choice for closing off an area of a car park or putting across a workshop doorway while machinery is operating.
