    When choosing high-visibility hoodies, especially for outdoor use, consider soft, durable fabrics that provide warmth and comfort, don’t fade in the sun, and aren't miserable to wear while wet. Durable fabrics that can withstand the demands of the workplace are more cost-effective, as they will last longer. They can also better protect you from light scratches and abrasions!

    Visibility and Compliance With Standards

    Assess the specific visibility requirements of your work environment. You can usually do this by checking the site risk assessment to determine what type and level of high-visibility clothing is needed. Depending on the visibility required, you will need clothing that responds to one of the three EN ISO 20471 classes.

    Weather Resistance

    Ensure your hi-vis is sufficiently weatherproof for the location and time of day it will be worn. A nice warm hi vis sweatshirt won’t keep you warm if you're soaking wet! We recommend choosing a waterproof and windproof option for outdoor use.

    Fit and Comfort

    When choosing sizing, consider how the apparel is likely to be worn. Depending on preference, tighter or baggier clothing may be required. Above all else, it must be comfortable to wear, or it just won't be worn!
