Carters ManMade Heavy Duty Shov-Holer

This heavy-duty Shov-Holer from the Manmade range of tools is perfect for digging deep post holes, whether that's for fencing, signage or car bollards. The long handle design allows you to reach deep into an excavation, both cutting the sides of the hole and then “grabbing” the loose soil and debris at the bottom for extraction.

The blades on this tool pivot, allowing them to be used in a scissor action; this makes this tool unmatched in its ability to remove loose soil from deep, narrow holes, clearing an excavation before concrete is added to secure a post or bollard.

The handles are 1350mm long, reducing the need for bending whilst using the tool and helping to reduce the risk of injury. We supply this tool with a choice of handle materials, including tubular steel, Ashwood, and fibreglass, and with a BS8020 Shocksafe compliant handle for use around live power.
