Improve The Drainage Around Your Property
Sometimes an access route is required that passes through a grassed area. It is not always desirable that this walkway be made from something that stands out like tarmac. By using plastic pavers with grass or gravel you can produce an access road or driveway that blends into the surroundings.
Overflow Parking Without Concreting over Everything
Overflow parking is often needed at service stations, shopping centres, theme parks and many other venues, and quite frequently this is on grass. The only downside to this is that a small amount of rain can make the whole situation a mud bath. By using permeable pavers with grass the grass still maintains its appearance, yet is structurally supported preventing mud from being churned up by vehicles. Once again this method also has the benefit of improving drainage of the land it is installed on when compared with traditional paving systems.

Exceptionally Easy & Fast Installation

A Small scale EcoGrid E40 Installation being carried out
Our paver systems can be installed faster than most traditional systems. Once the ground id appropriately prepared the pavers can be laid at a rate of up to 3900sqft per hour or even faster with the pre-assembled sheets of GeoGrid.
Installation of the pavers consists of ensuring that an appropriate base has been laid and packed down. A GeoFabric should be used to prevent movement of mud and clogging of drainage and ensure trouble free future use.
Each paver can easily be trimmed with a circular saw or jigsaw to fit around obstacles.
There is a great guide covering how to properly install grass cellular pavers on the paving expert website.
Benefits When Compared to Traditional Concrete Systems
Modern plastic grass paving systems offer many benefits over traditional old cast systems that are made from concrete. These include that modern HDPE products are lighter in weight and cheaper to transport. Easier to cut and size, and also will not suck water from the ground in hot weather.
