Pulsar Arc Flash Rail Spec Hi Vis Orange Waterproof Storm Coat PRARC09
This High Visibility Orange arc flash storm coat from Pulsar ticks all the boxes regarding features and standards; it is part of both our waterproof coat range and arc flash range of hi vis clothing. Designed for use in applications where there is a risk of electrical flash over the fabric of the garment is inherently flame retardant and anti-static, mitigating the risk of injury in the event of an accident.
The electric arc rail spec coat also has a host of quality-of-life features, including inner pockets and poachers pockets, a high-quality YKK zipper protected by a double-layer storm flap, and large outer pockets with covers to prevent water ingress.
The garment is ideal for those working on rail infrastructure, especially because it meets the requirements of RIS-3279. All piping and reflective on the coat are flame retardant for added protection. This coat is supplied without a hood; if required, one can be securely attached using press studs.

Offers the best waterproofing performance and breathability, ensuring the rain is kept off and perspiration can escape.
IEC 61482-2 Class 1
Offers protection from the thermal hazards of an arc flash, including the blast of plasma, flames, molten splashes from electrodes and burns.
ATPV 6.2 Cal/cm2
This is the maximum thermal incident energy in calories per cm2 that the clothing can be exposed to and prevent second-degree burns when there is a 50% probability.
ELIM 19 CAL/cm2
Measured in Calories per cm2, this is the point incidents below this value have a 0% chance of second-degree burns.
EN ISO 11612 A1, B1, C1, D3, E3, F1
Ensures that flame spread is limited and offers insulation against convection of heat and radiation of heat.
EN1149-5
Features materials and design that dissipates electrostatic charges when used as part of a total earthed system. This is not effective against mains voltage.
EN ISO 11611 Class 2 A1
Offers a high level of protection when working with welding equipment. Protects against spark and accidental flame contact.
RIS-3279
This garment meets the stringent requirements for clothing items to be worn lineside on rail infrastructure.
Sewn On Tape
All reflective tape sections are stitched to ensure they do not peel. Quality reflective materials ensure that you can be seen easily in dark environments.
Zip Up Front
A premium quality YKK branded zip ensures the full height of the jacket is sealed. This is, covered by a double Velcro storm flap that prevents driving rain from penetrating the zip.
External Pockets
Large exterior pockets allow ample space to stow items while working.
Chin Protector
The jacket zips up over the lower face keeping your chin dry and protected from the elements.
Storm Cuffs
Adjustable velcro straps on the cuffs allow you to tighten things up when the rain starts to fall, preventing water and wind ingress.
25 Washes Certified
Can be washed up to 25 times whilst still meeting reflective standard requirements.

- Chest - Take the measurement across the fullest part, with your arms by your side
- Bust - Measure across the fullest part and over the shoulder blades, with your arms by your side. Please note your bra size may not reflect your true bust measurement.
- Waist - Around the smallest part of the body at the natural waistline.
- Hips - Measure around the fullest part, approximately 8" below the waist.
