Autopa Rockingham Picnic Bench
Autopa’s Rockingham picnic bench and table set boasts an almost avant-garde design style, possessing flat, vertical slats (instead of the traditional horizontal slats) - creating a unique-looking picnic bench. This look aligns with other products in its collection (like the Rockington Backless Bench and the Rockingham Bench), allowing them to be combined into your space for a coherent overall look.
Its short, vertical slats (instead of long horizontal slats) allow greater seat rigidity and build strength. This allows a far more simplistic and cost-effective frame design, as the frame does not need as many bars to support the rest of its structure.
Made from a galvanised full-steel build (frame and slats) as standard, the Rockingham picnic bench is designed for maximum resilience to wear and tear in densely populated, high-traffic urban areas. Designed for installation in outdoor public spaces, this bench offers great protection from the elements all year round, looking good for years with only minimal maintenance.
If all that durability isn’t enough for you, there is also the option to upgrade to a stainless steel grade 304 finish - for even greater resistance to salt, rust and corrosion.

Installation and Use - Factors to Consider
Bolt-down only
Designed with stabilising bars connecting its legs, the Rockingham picnic bench can distribute weight more evenly over the floor it has been bolted to.
Bolt-down benches are perfect for environments in which the bench might need to be occasionally relocated as it can be easily bolted and unbolted from the floor. This does, however, mean the bench is less suitable for installation onto soft ground as it can’t be properly affixed and may be susceptible to sinking or changing position over time.
